Our Story
Our founder’s journey began in Uganda’s Mpigi district, where he grew up in a family devastated by HIV/AIDS, losing both parents to the virus due to a lack of accurate information on sexual health. After their deaths, he and his siblings faced extreme hardship, eventually living on the streets. For over two years, he endured homelessness until a compassionate Christian priest rescued him, leading him to Kankobe Orphanage, where he received care and education. Motivated by his personal struggles and the widespread ignorance about sexual health issues in Uganda, he pursued higher education and graduated with a bachelor’s degree. Determined to prevent others from suffering similar fates, he founded an organization dedicated to educating and empowering youth with critical information on HIV/AIDS, sexual reproductive health, teenage pregnancy, and early marriages, inspired by his experiences and the troubling statistics of sex-related crimes and diseases among Ugandan youth.
